Pay your bill online - with a debit or credit card, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

 Please note: There is a 2% charge when making payments using credit cards.

Telephone

You can pay your bill by credit or debit card by using our 24 hour automated telephone payment system on 0300 456 2231.

Post Office and Paypoint

You can pay your bill by cash, debit card or credit card at any Post Office or by cash at any Paypoint outlet nationwide. You will need a bill with a barcode on it to pay. If you already have one of these simply take it along and make the payment.

Direct Debit

Setting up a Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your Council Tax or Business Rates bill.

Which reference to use

•Council Tax: Your council tax reference starts with a 3, and is either made up of 8 numbers or 7 numbers and a letter.

•Benefit Overpayment (IMAN): Your overpayment reference has 6 numbers.

•Business Rates: Your business rates reference starts with a 1 and is 9 numbers long or 8 numbers and a letter.

•Debtors: Your debtor invoice starts with a 5 and is 10 numbers long.
